Talk Show Host Calls His Faith In Christ “Mental Illness.” The Vice President Disagrees, Strongly

Celebrities are blasting Mike Pence for having a relationship with Jesus Christ.

“As bad as y’all think Trump is, you would be worried about Pence,” Omarosa, former Apprentice contestant said. “So everybody that’s wishing for impeachment might want to reconsider their lives. We would be begging for days of Trump back if Pence became president.”

She continued:

“He’s extreme,” Omarosa said of the vice president. “I’m Christian. I love Jesus. But he thinks Jesus tells him to say things. I’m like, ‘Jesus ain’t saying that.’ ”

Then, Joy Behar, one of the hosts of “The View” called Pence’s faith a sign of “mental illness.”

“It’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you,” the comedian and co-host said on The View said last Tuesday. “That’s called mental illness if I’m not correct. Hearing voices.”

Pence did not back down.

“People of all different faith traditions, they cherish their faith in God,” Pence said. “And to have ABC have a forum that spoke in such demeaning terms, I think it’s evidence of how out of touch some in the mainstream media are with the faith and values of the American people.”

What do you think? Was ABC out of line?

“We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.”
