A little girl is safe, thanks to the bravery of a man who saw something wrong happening in front of him.
Police in Kalamazoo, Michigan say a 5-year-old girl was buying something from a Marathon Gas Station when a man ran up to her and grabbed her.
Henry Scott, a father himself, leapt into action.
Scott said, “It was nerve wracking and scary to me, my heart was pounding. I didn’t know whether to beat the guy, ‘like what were you thinking.'”
He drove up on the chaotic scene just as the 34-year-old suspect was trying to escape with a distraught 5-year-old girl.
Scott said, “As I’m approaching, she’s fighting harder now and she kicks and gets away.”
Scott said, “He’s like all irate he’s like taking off his jacket putting his jacket on i was just like he’s weird, don’t touch him something’s going on.”
Thank God for this man.
“We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.”
